Holidays
Shabbat services are every Friday evening at 6pm throughout the academic year. Students lead both a Reform and Conservative service. After services Hillel has a small oneg and has dinner at Hillel. Dinners are part of the university meal plan and are no additional cost.
Hillel has High Holiday services in the fall led by either cantorial soloists or rabbis. The Reform service is on the first day of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur day. The Conservative services are for both days of Rosh Hashana as well as the evening services. Kol Nidrei and Neilah are both observed as well. All Reform High Holiday services are held at Northeastern Hillel at 70 St. Stephen Street and the Conservative Services are at the Sacred Space in Ell Hall.

Northeastern Hillel observes most of the holidays at our Hillel building. We build our own sukkah in the back of the building during Sukkot and have Tu B'shevat seders along with Purim megillah reading and hamantashen making. During Passover Hillel has seders both nights and serves lunches and dinners throughout the week.
